Our female rat had 8 babies the morning/afternoon of 6/29/08. They are all doing really good. I've found a home for 2 females already. Local adopters only! Their mommy(Piper) is a very good mommy, very intintive of caring for her babies. Both parents I own and are really sweet and haven't bitten anyone. Most of the babies are white with black markings but we do have 2 that are mostly black with white tummies. Piper the mommy is all white with a tan marking on her head, and the daddy(Xavier) is all black wih spots of white going down to his white belly.
