Kitchen Supervisor (Culinary/Kitchen) – Full Time

Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers in the main kitchen, serving LATITUDE 41 (casual dining); BAR 41; Room Service; and Banquets as needed. Determine how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays. Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish to be served. Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared Prepare special meals or substitute items. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks. Ensure the quality of the food items. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees. Address guests service needs. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team goals. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Some heavy lifting. Must possess excellent oral and written communication and relationship-building skills. 2-3+ years experience cooking experience on a high-volume, a la carte line required; hotel and banquet experience preferred. Lead/supervisory experience a plus. Must be available to work a flexible full time schedule rotating days and AM/PM shifts including weekends and holidays as business demands.
